How long does thermally modified siding like Thermory actually last?

Trying to get a real sense of how long thermally modified siding like Thermory holds up before I commit. The no chemical, low maintenance pitch sounds great but I'd rather hear from people actually living with it than read a brochure. How does it compare to cedar or a tropical hardwood over the long haul? Anyone got several years on it?
