Where are you guys actually sourcing shou sugi ban siding? Local yards are cypress-only or 10 weeks out

Doing a modern build with charred (yakisugi) siding and sourcing is killing me. Every local yard either only does cypress or quotes me 10+ weeks on a special order. I wanted to compare cedar vs cypress vs accoya charred before I commit. Does the species even matter much once it's burned, and who are people actually buying this from?
