Thermally modified wood vs Accoya for exterior siding: both expensive, which is actually better?

Building a modern home and the architect wants either thermally modified (Thermory) or Accoya for the cladding. Both seem to have crazy durability claims. Accoya is 50-year warranty, Thermory is Class 1 durability. But Accoya is 40-50% more expensive. Is it actually worth the premium or is thermal mod good enough? 2,000 sq ft of wall area, Pacific Northwest climate.
